This web site is maintained by Poughill Parish Council on behalf of the residents and organisations of the parish. We aim to publish matters of interest relating to the village and it's activities. We will post more information here when we receive it. |

The mobile library service visits Poughill every two weeks, and is a superbly useful little service. Good range of adult and children's books. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to dig out a particular title if they can! See the 'Local Amenities' page for times and locations, --- | Poughill Village Community Policing and Neighbourhood Watch Poughill has a new local Police Community Support Officer. Her name is Lisa Crocker, and she is based in Crediton; Lisa has already attended a parish council meeting, and can be seen visiting the village as often as she can - look out for the police Transit van!. As part of the community policing Lisa has set up a new Neighbourhood Watch for Poughill. Our Co-Ordinator for this project is Tim Foster, a parish resident.
